To Connect to Bolzano (BZO)

• The only airline flying directly into Bolzano Airport is SkyAlps, with connections from cities like London Gatwick, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Antwerp (plus several summer holiday destinations).

• If you can route through one of these cities, a SkyAlps flight will bring you straight into Bolzano—just minutes from the wedding venue.

** Please note the current schedule for BZO is not currently available for the summer of 2026. This should be released early next year.

Direct Flight to Munich (MUC)

• Munich Airport is a major hub with plenty of direct flights from North America.

• From Munich, you can either:

◦ Take the train: A comfortable 4-hour journey through the Alps.

◦ Drive: Around 3 hours via the scenic Brenner Pass.

If you choose the Munich route, you’re warmly invited to join us in Rosenheim (Phil’s hometown!) the weekend before and in the days leading up to the wedding. It’s a charming Bavarian town about an hour from Munich, and we’d love to share a little piece of Phil’s roots with you before heading south to Italy together.

Direct Flight to Venice (VCE)

• Venice Marco Polo Airport is another excellent option.

• From Venice:

◦ Drive: About 2½–3 hours through northern Italy.

◦ Train: Roughly 4–5 hours

While we love your little ones, this will be an adult only celebration.

For our North American guests, if you do plan on bringing your little one/s over to Europe for an extended family vacation for or after the wedding, that is with the understanding you will be bringing someone else to watch your child for the celebrations, or by seeking childcare in the area, which we are happy to provide recommendations for.

By Car: Cruise through the Dolomites to Lake Garda, Lake Como, Verona, or even Milan—think mountain views, historic towns, and lakeside strolls.

By Plane: Bolzano Airport (BZO) makes it easy to swap peaks for beaches. Direct flights whisk you to Sardinia (Olbia & Cagliari), Greece (Corfu & Kefalonia), or Spain (Ibiza & Menorca). Sun, sea, and spritzes await.

As we know, this is Isobel's bread and butter, so if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to her!

Phil would love to welcome you alongside Isobel to his hometown of Rosenheim the weekend before the wedding, and the days leading up to the departure to Bolzano Thursday morning. You can visit his favorite beer gardens, Isobel's favorite coffee shop, and see the scenery that is so near and dear to them both.

We don’t have a wedding registry, as your presence is truly the greatest gift to us. We know for most that traveling to Italy to celebrate with us is already a big commitment, and we couldn’t be more grateful. All we want is to have our friends and family together to share in this special day.
